This newly created position will report to the Group Manager - People & Culture, and work closely with subject matter experts across the business to develop and deliver training and induction content that is timely, relevant and meaningful; and which has the impact of increasing employee and customer engagement and sales outcomes across all of our stores.
Training will be delivered via Zoom and in person, and will be aimed at equipping our teams to cope with the changing retail environment and evolving roles and responsibilities, addressing skills gaps, and facilitating career progression.
The successful candidate will need to have optical retail and training experience, great verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of people. Excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly is a must, as is comfort with travel to our stores across the Eastern seaboard and working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can often change.
