CooperVision launched its ‘Patient Express’ contact lens delivery service last month (March) to independent optometrists around Australia.
“Patient Express helps optometrists offer their patients the benefit of having their contact lenses delivered to the most convenient location for the patient, such as home or work,” said Mr. Wayne Reuben, Country Manager Australia and New Zealand.
Increasingly, patients are drawn to the convenience of the internet for their contact lenses rather than returning to their optometrist. CooperVision understands that losing patients in this way is a big concern for many optometrists today. Now independent optometrists can offer their patients the same convenience through Patient Express.

Some CooperVision customers may be eligible for the premium level service ‘Patient Express Plus’, which “goes even further to help build patient loyalty and improve contact lens compliance,” said Mr. Reuben.
