Johnson & Johnson Vision Care has recently launched an iPhone application to engage users and drive them to optometrists
The company told the ‘media’ website that the application Acuvue eyeSuite, is actually six smaller applications bundled into one. Users can use the application to engage in a staring competition, find their nearest Optometrist and of course register for a free trial of 1 Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses.
The Acuvue eyeSuite was developed in Australia by MRM and can be downloaded for free at the iTunes App Store. The application is available to Australian users and only works only on the iPhone.
“In 2007 we launched the first branded Facebook application in Australia, the ‘Acuvue wink’, which saw more than a million winks sent, This year we are engaging with the iPhone users, who are closely aligned with our target audience,” said Mandeep Grover, Marketing Manager for J&J Vision Care in Australia and New Zealand.
