The Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) will honour the tireless work of Professor Brien Holden at its national meeting in Perth on the weekend starting on 31 October at the State Tennis Centre in Burswood.
The Society will pay tribute to Professor Holden for his work in academia, research, and his contributions to the Society.
The Saturday session will be held at Royal Perth Hospital Eye Clinic and will be a hands-on RGP workshop with coaching by experienced practitioners.
The main speaker at the Sunday session will be Professor Holden himself, who will be speaking on continuous wear entitled ‘Where are we?’
Professor Holden will be supported by several speakers, including Maria Markoulli, a CCLSA grant holder who is progressing to her PhD at the University of New South Wales; Optometrist Narelle Hine from Sydney who will speak about Presbyopia contact lens potential and Lisa Jarman who will give a talk on ‘Examining Your Practice Database’.
Registration costs are AUD$100 and members AUD$50 CPD points applied for.
