The 13th International Cornea and Contact Lens Congress (ICCLC) will take place at the exclusive Sheraton on the Park Hotel in Sydney from 8 to 11 October.
The contact lens field is one of the most exciting and fastest progressing segments of full spectrum optometry. During a program packed with internationally acclaimed speakers from around the world, attendees will hear about cutting edge research into materials, corneal physiology, comfort and contact lens (CL) technology (some for the first time worldwide). An entire section of the conference has been dedicated to one of the hottest topics in optometry – myopia control.
Attendees that feel a little ‘rusty’ with contact lens fitting will have the opportunity to attend a refresher course while those CL practitioners interested in refining their advanced fitting skills will find the ‘From the Gurus’ section most valuable.
Top tips for fitting kids with contacts and successful presbyopic fitting will be covered in depth, along with business skills for building a successful contact lens practice.
As well as providing high quality education with a practical focus, this year’s ICCLC will provide valuable networking opportunities for attendees from around Australia and New Zealand, including the very popular gala dinner on Saturday night.
