An Australasian consumer rating of large corporate optical chains has declared Luxottica’s Budget Eyewear as winning its ‘Most Satisfied Customers – Optometrists Award’.
Cannex Blue provided the ratings after interviewing 2,500 people from a broad cross section of the Australian population who have recently used the product or service.
It found that Budget Eyewear customers had the highest overall satisfaction with their optometrist. They were also the most satisfied with after sales service and tied with Laubman & Pank for the highest satisfaction for the service and advice they received in the store.
The survey revealed Budget Eyewear triumphed with customers while Just Spectacles, Laubman & Pank and OPSM received four stars, followed by Specsavers and Optical Superstore on three.

On price, Optical Superstore was rated the most highly by its customers, followed by Specsavers and Budget Eyewear on four stars. Just Spectacles, Laubman & Pank and OPSM followed on three stars.
Budget Eyewear and stable mate Laubman & Pank tied for most satisfied customers, followed by OPSM and Specsavers (four stars) and Optical Superstore and Just Spectacles (three stars).
Laubman & Pank and OPSM customers were happiest with the range offered, followed by Budget Eyewear and Specsavers, then Optical Superstore and Just Spectacles. Just Spectacles customers were happiest with the location of their stores.
