Transitions Optical has launched the darkest, everyday Transitions lens available.
XTRActive lenses are to suit patients who spend a lot of time in bright, sunny conditions. They provide automatic ultraviolet and glare protection and moderately activate behind the car windshield. In a recent study of both clear and photochromic lens wearers, supported by Transitions Optical, nearly 80 per cent of clear lens wearers and 85 per cent of photochromic lens wearers were satisfied with the level of darkness the lenses provided outdoors. More than seventy per cent were satisfied when driving in very sunny conditions.
