Actor, screen writer and philanthropist Matt Damon, sporting his Bevel specs, received the Broadcast Film Critics Association’s Joel Siegel award on 14 January at the 16th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
Damon, seen in the Coen brothers’ movie True Grit, received the award for his humanitarian and charitable efforts, notably his work as co-founder of Water.org, which transformed thousands of communities in Latin America, Africa and Asia by providing access to safe water and sanitation.
