BCLA May 2011

Inspiring educational themes, the latest innovations and a touch of Bollywood glamour are the highlights of this year’s 35th BCLA Clinical Conference and Exhibition.

With the recent launch of the Clinical Conference scientific programme, plans are underway for what the Association believes will be a valuable event for all delegates – whatever their level of skill and expertise in the field of contact lenses and the anterior eye.

Taking place in the newly refurbished Manchester Central Convention Complex in the heart of the city from 26 to 29 May, BCLA 2011 is themed ‘Learn Today – Practice Tomorrow’.

The event offers a host of new features, and a wide range of learning and hands-on activities such as clinical spotlight sessions with an update on myopia control, a Thursday evening non-clinical lecture on ‘Fun with Visual Illusions;’ a first-ever session on corneal dystrophies; practical sessions for those new, or returning, to contact lenses; exhibitor sessions in an exhibition pavilion; general health and contact lens wear session and a Top 10 Tips Trophy Challenge with the experts.
