Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, the twins who gained their fame on screen before turning to fashion design, have launched a line of optical frames that will be released through their Elizabeth and James label in America this month. The label also includes sunglass frames.
The collection will include 13 styles, named after streets in New York City and Los Angeles like Chrystie and Folsom.
The funky optical range will continue some of the design trends from the girl’s spring collection of sunglasses, including a script logo at the top of the frame, plus metal styling on the end tips. Ashley Olsen said the frames have “a classic feel with a modern sensibility.”
