garde brand Theo has put its own spin on the ‘nerd trend’ and developed Matheo – a limited edition collection of specs inspired by those who love mathematics. According to Theo’s vision, by wearing eyeglasses with math symbols on them, you can get close to finding out how maths nerds really feel…
The maths inspired collection comprises four pairs in titanium and four in plastic. The dominant feature that gives the frames that ‘math nerd’ appeal is a fluorescent symbol, which leaps out against the black background. The symbols range from the most banal such as ‘equals’, ‘greater than’, ‘plus’, to those less well known like ‘intersection’, ‘absolute value’ and more.
