Johnson & Johnson Vision Care has launched an extension of 1 Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses designed to meet the needs of new wearers. The expanded 1 Day Acuvue Moist Series with 1 Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism offers toric lenses in more than 1,500 parameters.
More than one million people are considering contact lenses in Australia1 and New Zealand.2 According to research, 45 per cent of potential contact lens wearers need their astigmatism corrected with a cylinder of 0.75.3
Johnson & Johnson says its moist lenses provide excellent all day comfort thanks to the Lacreon technology and 1 Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism delivers stable vision as a result of a unique stabilisation design.
The series was launched by Shelly Bansal, the President of the British Contact Lens Association, in July.
