We’ve discovered a collection of stylish, technically sophisticated 3D glasses designed by Norwegian twins Kine and Einy Paulsen.
The duo launched the brand Ingri:Dahl, named after Ingrid Bergmann and Roald Dahl. The first frames in the collection – James 3D glasses – are inspired by classic Hollywood.
When the twins saw their first 3D movie years ago their experience was diminished by the unattractive, flimsy 3D glasses blocking their faces. They wanted to change this. Their dream was to create a line of 3D glasses that helped movie-goers express their individuality and remain fashionable, even in the dark of a movie theatre.
Ingri:Dahl glasses are compatible with all of the 15,000 RealD theatres worldwide. They also work with passive 3D technology, the technology used in the newest 3D TVs by the likes of LG, Toshiba and JVC.
