The latest Versace eyewear collection is inspired by the glamour and chic sexiness of the screen stars of the 50s and 60s. It also pays homage to the gorgeous January Jones who plays former model Elizabeth “Betty” Francis (formerly Draper) in the American television series Mad Men.
Speaking of January Jones, Donatella Versace said, “I am always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde and in January I feel I have found a perfect Versace woman for the twenty-first century. She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too – it is a dramatic combination”.
For Versace’s 2011 collection, January features in a spectacular black and white advertising campaign photographed by Mario Testino, wearing only her Versace accessories.
