The Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia has announced that it will host the 2012 International Cornea and Contact Lens Congress (CCLC) at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney from 12 to 15 October. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column]
Following on from a highly successful event in 2010, the bi-annual event brings together an exciting program that promotes research, supports professional development and provides valuable networking opportunities for delegates.
Speakers confirmed include:
• Jason Nichols, OD MPH PhD FAAO: Kevin McDaid Vision Source Professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry, USA;
• Jennifer P. Craig, PhD MCOptom FAAO FBCLA: Senior Lecturer in Ophthalmology at the University of Auckland, NZ;
• Professor Brien Holden: Professor of the University of NSW, CEO of the Brien Holden Vision Institute, the Vision Cooperative Research Centre and the International Centre for Eyecare Education. Prof. Holden is also the CEO and President of Adventus Technology Inc, in Australia.
A Gala Dinner will be held at the Waterfront Restaurant on the Saturday night.
CPD points will be available for all delegates who attend the conference.
