A collaboration between Berlin-based eyewear specialists Lunettes Kollektion and London’s Cooperative Designs knitwear has taken frames back to the future in more ways than one.
Lunettes Kollektion’s retro-styled frames are handcrafted in small traditional factories while the tinted lenses are transformed using ultra modern technology to create unique cutouts that the designers say look great but don’t impact vision. To keep the sunnies in place, they’re fitted with a custom crochet glasses cord and to maintain their shine, bundled with a cleaning cloth printed with one of Cooperative Designs’ original artworks that appears as a graphic print in their fashion collection.
The limited edition collection is destined to capture the hearts of the masses.
