The warranty includes all equipment that falls under the Ophthalmic Systems banner including (but not limited to) the Cirrus HD-OCT, ZEISS perimeters (Humphrey Field Analyser, Matrix and FDT), ZEISS fundus cameras, the ATLAS 9000 Corneal Topographer, the IOLMaster and ophthalmic lasers.
Kylee Hall, Medical Division Manager at Carl Zeiss, said that in recent years the company has invested heavily in its service department to ensure it is world class.
As a result, the department now has 29 factory-trained service engineers across Australia and New Zealand and a dedicated service support centre manned by eight service administrators. Additionally, the department has built up a loan equipment pool exceeding 100 instruments and over AUD$1 million in spare parts and calibration tools.
“We feel this combination of a strong service department and new extended warranty will offer our customers unprecedented protection and piece of mind,” said Ms. Hall.
