From 2-4 February 2013, a Silmo Village will feature as part of India’s major professional optics and eyewear trade fair, which is expected to attract around 15,000 visitors.
The European companies taking part will be exposed to an optics sector worth over 2.9 billion euros, with annual growth of 30 per cent, underpinned by some 45,000 optical outlets, including 600 high-end and 2,500 mid-range stores. Ten per cent of India’s population of 1.3 billion require optical glasses.
