The high technology behind Maui Jim lenses has been merged with high fashion to create Kanani sunglasses. Meaning ‘beautiful one’ in Hawaiian, these stunning women’s sunglasses feature a soft cats-eye shape and are available in translucent colours and duo-tone styling.
“Over the past year, we’ve introduced many more fashionable designs than at any time in our history,” said Richard Walker, Maui Jim’s Director of Product Development. “Kanani arrives on the scene to showcase our boldest, trendsetting sunglasses to date.”
Designed for long-wearing comfort, Kanani is fitted with SuperThin Glass lenses that are 20 per cent
thinner and lighter than conventional glass lenses. The lenses are engineered to the precise dimensions
of each frame, which according to Maui Jim, results in clear, edge-to-edge, undistorted views.
For comfort and stability, the frames have embedded rubber nose pads and anti-corrosive spring hinges as well as Maui Jim’s patented PolarisedPlus 2 technology
