We all know the extent some customers will go to, just to get themselves a hot new look at little expense.
But this one may be a little ambitious… According to Stylelist.com, DIY two-tone sunglasses are just the thing for next summer… The blog provides step by step instructions along the lines of: take an old frame, grab two bottles of nail polish and go to work, as if you’re painting a two toned wall.
Stick a strip of tape across the middle of the frame to get a straight edge, then paint away. Allow the polish to dry, then remove the tape and paint the balance of the frame with your second contrasting colour. Mistakes are no problem – a dab of nail polish remover will repair the mess. A second coat will achieve a more solid finish and for a gloss effect, a clear polish over the lot does the job… of course!
