The Australian Dispensing Optician’s Association (ADOA) has decided to create more awareness of the role of optical dispensers with a smart new video clip targeted at both optometry practice customers and prospective optical dispensers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]
The video Optical Dispensers, Indispensable highlights the specialised training a person undertakes to become a skilled optical dispenser and the value they add to the practice and customer experience.
Martin Kocbek, President of ADOA said he came up with the concept to develop the video clip when he was searching for ways to inspire and reassert optical dispensers who feel disenchanted as a result of the profession’s deregulation. He encourages all qualified optical dispensers to share the clip on their social media, embed it on their website and include it in recall emails.
