Dr. Nicola Pritchard and Professor Nathan Efron from the School of Optometry and Vision Science at QUT have received an award from US-based DiaComp (Diabetes Complications Consortium). The award is for a project entitled LANDMark BioBanks – a five-year longitudinal, NIDDK-affiliated bioresource. This was the only grant
made to researchers
outside the USA.
Professor Efron was elected as Vice-President at the recent biennial meeting of the International Society for Contact Lens Research (ISCLR) in Kyoto, Japan. The ISCLR is committed to international communication in the field of contact lens research and related sciences.
