Cambodia Vision has opened bookings for its annual fundraising dinner in Brisbane.
A non-profit organisation, Cambodia Vision has been sending teams of eye care professionals and general medical practitioners to the poorest regions of the kingdom since 2007.
On an average visit, the volunteer team will perform more than 250 cataract surgeries, approximately 850 eye tests, and distribute about 4,000 pairs of sunglasses and 1,500 spectacles.
The Brisbane fundraising dinner will be held at Michael’s Oriental Restaurant and Function Centre in Eight Mile Plains on the evening of Saturday 15 February. Tickets start from AUD$50 and include a six course meal and a line-up of Cambodian entertainment.
