
Professor Mark Willcox will conduct a three-day seminar program on ocular surface science and dry eye at University of New South Wales from 25–27 July. The seminar will provide 23 CPD points and is free to register and attend.
The seminar program is open to clinicians, professional scientists, academics, post-doctoral fellows, post graduate students and 5th year UNSW undergraduate optometry students. Additionally, members of advocacy groups and the public are welcome to attend.
Topics that will be presented are ocular surface wound healing, corneal stem cells, keratoconus, diagnosis and therapy for dry eyes, contact lens discomfort, orthokeratology, new developments in contact lenses, meibomium glands; and an ‘update on experimental eye research special edition: tears, a unique mucosal secretion’.Among high profile speakers are Professor Minas Coroneo; A/Prof. Colin Chan; A/Prof. Jennifer Craig, Dr. Isabelle Jalbert, Dr. Ajay Vijay, Dr. Stephanie Watson and Dr. Jim Kokkinakis.

The conference has a maximum capacity of 150 attendees.
