Best Practice Audit Tool

Optometry Victoria has developed an online resource members can refer to for information on relevant guidelines, policies and legislative instruments.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]

The Flip Book is divided into eight sections which can be instantly accessed via the Table of Contents. Each section contains information and relevant links to practice information, guidelines or policies outlining expected standards and best practice in that area.

Speaking of the decision to develop the Audit tool, Kirsty Machon, Policy and Member Services Manager at Optometry Victoria said, “an important part of the work of Optometry Victoria is to make sure members have the clinical, practical and professional support and information needed to practice optometry effectively and to a high standard”.

Information available in the Flip Doc includes optometry competencies; optometry registration standards, including additional underpinning guidelines and policies; legislative frameworks covering optometry, clinical standards and guideline; and guidelines for or information about practice policies and procedures.
