Rodenstock has entered an agreement to manufacture sunglasses and correction frames under licence from the German lifestyle brand Bogner.
The traditional Munich companies have many parallels and say they share a passion for quality and innovation. “The sporty and elegant collection that we are developing with Bogner fits in perfectly with our product range and makes it even more attractive, especially for women. We see great potential for Bogner Eyewear through the strong presence of this high-quality brand in our core markets. Together, we want to set new standards in the future of sporty and fashionable spectacles,” said Oliver Kastalio, CEO of the Rodenstock Group.
The first joint collection, including 25 correction spectacles and sunglasses, is scheduled for launch in early 2015.
