Hoya will re-open its South Australia branch in North Plympton, Adelaide with a contracted fitting laboratory on site as well as a full customer service team.
With its proximity to Hoya’s state-of-the-art Rx lab in Sydney, Craig Chick, Managing Director of Hoya Lens Australia said there are great opportunities to expand businesses in the South Australia and Tasmania markets.
The branch will be supported by Kandi Optics Laboratory, Hoya’s contracted fitting facility, which is headed by Peter Kessler. Hoya closed its South Australian lens laboratory in 2011. Lenses are now sourced from the company’s labs in Sydney and Thailand.
