
ProVision, now in its 25th year, will host its biennial National Conference at the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Hobart from 3-5 October.
This year’s conference program is distinguished by its broad mix of keynote speakers from eye health, medicine, sport and film culture.
At the top of the list of business speakers are strategist, innovator and problem solver Al Cleinman from Cleinman Performance Partners in the US, Australia’s own highly successful motivational speaker Lisa McInnes-Smith and creative, strategic lead Dan Gregory who has developed new
lines for some of the world’s most important consumer brands, including Coca-Cola and Unilever.
Additionally delegates will be inspired by Winthrop Professor Fiona Wood AM, Director of the Burns Service of WA and co-founder and Director of Avitamedical. Then there’s Khoa Do, acclaimed film director and humanitarian; who tells a remarkable story of fleeing Vietnam as a refugee by boat. World champion wood chopper David Foster will speak on corporate goal setting and Robert William Morris, the creator and founder of the iconic eyewear brand of the same name, will provide an insight into independent optometry in the UK.
Also on the speaker list are Wayne Reuben from CooperVision, Silmo D’Or winner Caroline Abram, Nick Hornsby, Gina Lednyak and Dave Bonouvrie.
