British eyewear company Kirk and Kirk has been honoured with the Newcomer Award at the Hall of Frames exhibition in Stuttgart. The award, which recognises innovative new brands, was judged by a jury comprising renowned opticians from Switzerland and Germany, alongside media partners Eyestylist.
Co-founder Jason Kirk said he was honoured to receive the award. “With our Vivarium and Solarium collections we have recognised that the optician needs frames that are different to the norm but still sellable. The German and Swiss opticians are amongst the best in the world so for them to acknowledge our work in this way is a great honour and validation of a whole year’s preparation.”
Made entirely from acrylic, the Vivarium collection is especially light and comfortable to wear and benefits from a unique colour palette, while the hand-crafted jewellery, made by artisan craftsman in England, contributes to an extremely distinctive collection.
