Duy Phuong Nguyen has been appointed as CEO of Essilor Australia and New Zealand following the departure of Tony Gray. Mr. Nguyen is a well-known veteran of the ANZ optical industry, having worked with Essilor in various roles over the past 28 years. He has been a member of the ODMA executive committee since 1991.
Mr. Nguyen will have full and direct oversight of the Group’s businesses across Australia and New Zealand, reporting directly to Eric Bernard, Chief Operating Officer, Essilor AMERA region.
In a statement released, Essilor said Mr. Gray had left his position as CEO after three years to pursue other career opportunities. Essilor thanked Mr. Gray for his contribution and wished him every success in the future.
