mivision has become a leader in continued professional development for Australian optometry with 10.44 per cent of all optometrists accessing a total 9,816 CPD modules in 2014.
On average, optometrists completed almost eight mivision CPD modules each across the year. Of the total 176,000 CPD points available to optometry, mivision delivered well in excess of 18,000.
The first two mivision CPD articles for 2015 are ‘Keratoconus Stategies for Management and Treatment’, by Anna Siu and ‘Severe Microbial Keratitis: What to Look For’ by Dr. Nicole Carnt. Both articles are printed in this edition of mivision and published online.
The following articles, which were published in mivision during 2014, can now be accessed and completed at mivision’s online independent clinical learning centre mivisionclean2.flywheelsites.com (these articles are only available online):
- Soft Contact Lenses: Can Your Patients Handle Them?’
- ‘Ultra Violet Radiation Issues and Protection’
- ‘Daily Disposables: Moving Outside the Sphere’
- ‘A Contemporary Approach to Dry Eye Management’
- ‘Managing Dry Eye and Allergic Conjunctivitis’
- ‘Women’s and Children’s Vision’
Points acquired for the CPD modules are reported within two weeks of each month-end to Eyes on CPD, Optometry Australia’s new business arm, which manages the accreditation program.
