A Polish eyewear start-up is promising ‘high quality’ absolutely customised 3D sunglasses with attitude. Bawsome started taking orders online on 1 February, allowing customers to choose the colour of their frame, select the lenses and add their own text (of up to 10 characters) to the temples. Total cost is €140 inc. tax.
According to the website, “We build our sunglasses using cutting edge 3D-printing technology. Our experienced Belgian manufacturers developed a unique material that is durable, light-weight and simply looks great”. Lenses, they claim are also great quality. “We import our lenses from top Italian lens manufacturers.
Using the best materials and innovative production methods, they’ve created lenses that are durable, resistant and lively in colour. And with UV400 protection, they’re also good for your eyes.”
