No one needs an excuse to party while the weather is warm, so during January, Colab partnered with The Beach Road Hotel Bondi’s ’12 Sundays of Summer’ festival, to throw an Art Bash.
Three of Sydney’s contemporary artists Georgia Hill; Sonny from WeBuyYourKids and Bafcat were there to create original art murals and there were plenty of activities to keep guests amused.
One was the chance to win new season limited edition Colab sunglasses by using a giant wooden hand to pop balloons that clouded the ceiling. As the balloons exploded, glitter in multiple colours rained down turning the winners and the floor into a technicoloured feast.
At the “SMASH STAND!” guests donned safety glasses and took up a giant hammer to obliterate their beloved (and boring) generic brand sunglasses; then traded the pieces for exclusive Colabs. Only with Colab, (AUS) 02 8436 6666.
