The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) has elected optometrist Brian Tompkins as its President.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Tompkins said: “The chance to lead the best contact lens organisation in the world is something I cannot wait to begin. I hope to bring enthusiasm, passion and fun into every aspect of the contact lens world.”
The BCLA also elected two optometric representatives, Jonathon Bench and Michael Kilpartrick; two contact lens optician representatives, Nick Atkins and David Samuel; and a medical representative Dr. Sunil Shah.
