High fashion frames, new lenses, state-of-the-art machinery and technologies…the 23rd edition HKTDC Hong Kong Optical Fair gets started on 4 November and its being promoted as your “one-stop sourcing platform”.
Hong Kong is a world-renowned sourcing centre for eyewear products. In the first seven months of 2015, its total exports of spectacles, lenses and frames increased 3.2 per cent to USD1.1 billion. This year the Hong Kong Optical Fair will feature product from more than 720 exhibitors from 25 different countries and regions.
Designer labels and fashion brands are a big focus at the Fair with eyewear parades staged throughout the two day event to show off the latest market trends. The Brand Name Gallery, this year re-located in the Grand Hall, will house over 200 well-known brands from around the world, such as Converse; Deep; Groover; ic! berlin; Italia Independent; Jaeger; Lee Cooper; Masaki Matsushima; Morgenrot; Moscot; and Mykita to name just a few. Networking opportunities will help connect suppliers with buyers with the aim of opening up new overseas markets.
The Hong Kong Optical Fair takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 4-6 November 2015. Visit www.hktdc.com/fair/hkopticalfair-en
