Marimekko’s Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 optical collection is all about colour, bold patterns and creative contrasts.
This Finnish fashion and design house, together with Mondottica, have conceived an eyewear collection of 11 fresh and exuberant styles, each originally named after typical Finnish female names and featuring daring shapes, thick temples and laser engraved branding.
Marimekko’s iconic prints are married with wearable eyewear shapes, and power of colour, created by a unique colour-block mix and match. Pictured here is the oversized aviator metal Vuokko, which features classic hues combined with lime green, cherry red, hot pink and electric blue details on temple tips.
