Alcon Australia has launched the new Ultrasert pre-loaded delivery system with Acrysof IQ IOL, which provides exceptional control in a single-use injection device. The proprietary TensionGlide plunger is designed to provide a consistant level of resistance providing a smooth, gliding plunger action for controlled, one-handed implantation of the Acrysof IQ IOL. A depth guard nozzle feature governs the insertion depth and preserves the incision architecture throughout implantation. The meticulously engineered plunger tip ensures that the trailing IOL haptic remains tucked during the insertion without adhering to the IOL implantation.
The Ultrasert delivery system is ready for use in three simple steps and provides clear visibility of the pre-loaded Acrysof IQ IOL throughout the entire process.
