Ahlem eyewear has been created by Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Paris native living in Los Angeles.
Pictured is one of Ahlem’s latest frames, which draws inspiration from the unique beauty and architecture of Paris train stations. The Gare du Nord combines Ahlem’s modern palladium frame with accents of her signature acetate – mimicking the architectural play between light, stone and exposed cast iron beams.
Each frame is handmade from Mazzuchelli and vintage acetates. Sunglasses are fitted with Cridal lenses, with UVA/UVB protection and anti-reflective coating. A metal and rubber binding on the hinges adds stability.
