AM Eyewear’s In Translation collection draws reference to past, present and future Japan through its colour-blends, patterns and silhouettes.
The sun line has been crafted in Italy, with the optical line taking shape in Korea drawing on their exceptional skill with stainless steel. Within the handcrafted collection you’ll find highlights of sustainably-sourced buffalo-horn, Japanese titanium, Italian leather and acetate.
Speaking of the collection’s seven new frames, AM Eyewear’s founder and creative talent Simon Ponnusamy says, “I looked at this year’s collection in a similar manner to a contemporary restaurant found in many of the world’s top cities, where classic dishes are infused in an east meets west way, to create something ultra-modern while still holding on to the past”.
