Equal Health is calling for volunteer optometrists to work in India from
3 –19 February 2017.
Equal Health provides access to free multi-disciplinary health care to people in need in developing countries. Founded in 1999, the organisation also collaborates with partner agencies, training and equipping their health care workers with skills and resources to improve the health of their communities on an ongoing basis.
Equal Health conducts camps in India annually. Volunteer placement positions are available for health professionals in Southern and East India during February 2017. The cost to volunteer is $3,790 (tax deductible), which is inclusive of airfares, food and accommodation.
