OShow, Australia’s boutique event for the optical industry, will place the spotlight firmly on eyewear and eye care, with back to back presentations running throughout the weekend, from Saturday 14 to Sunday 15 July.
The sell out show, now in its second year, will feature presentations that range from window dressing to optical coherence tomography, IPL technology, ultra widefield imaging, dispensing and even social media. The presentations will be delivered on the stage and at individual exhibition stands.
Speakers at OShow include Jennifer Rainer (Alleve Eye Clinic), David Yebra (Optimed), Rick Good (Good Optical) and Jason Teh (Designs for Vision) who will all speak about different aspects of dry eye management.

Yvette Wadell (Brien Holden Vision Institute) will speak about the myopia epidemic; Grant Hannaford (AAOO) will present on dispensing; and Renato Antolovich (Zeiss) will speak on the Clarus 500 ultra widefield camera. Riccardo Ferraris (De Gaspare Nidek) will also speak on widefield imaging and Adam Hamilton (Heidelberg) will speak on OCT angiography.
John Larkin and Adrian Vecchio (Optimed) will speak on OCT biometry and Grant Schmid (Device Technologies) will speak on ophthalmic data management.
Neville White (BOC) will speak on the financial aspects of offering IPL in practice and David Yebra (Optimed) will speak about future trends in IPL treatment. Kathy Allen (Dewings) will speak on practice valuations.
A presentation on 3D printed eyewear will be delivered by David Inderias (Techprint) and Emilie Campagnon (Bolon Eyewear) will speak about the new Bolon collections and supporting campaign.
Vivienne Forbes (Social Ties) will present on social media while Kerry Van Beuge will present live window dressing demonstrations throughout the weekend.
