“An Rx lens can be up to four times heavier than a demo lens. This… affects the initial weight balance of the optical equipment. It alters the longitudinal stability and (impacts) comfort: glasses slide down the wearer’s nose… if the optical centre of the lens and the pupil are not aligned anymore, the optical correction is corrupted,” says Pons.
AirArt frames can be adjusted at their centre of gravity and balance, in precise accordance with the weight of each Rx lens. Designed in Paris, shaped in France, Italy and Switzerland.
