New Consumer Credit For Medical Procedures

An Australian consumer credit provider has entered the market, providing consumers with finance to fund medical and cosmetic treatments as well as any associated costs including accommodation, flights, and extra treatment or surgery.

Total Lifestyle Credit (TLC) was established by Tim Boon, who previously owned Consumer Loan Company, which provided funding for the medical sector.

“Many patients find it difficult to find the money to finance medical procedures and so they delay. In doing so, their condition can deteriorate and may impact their ability to work and quality of life. Parents of children who need procedures can be particularly affected, especially if delaying a procedure may impact their child’s development,” he said.

Prospective patients can apply for funding from AU$2,000 –$50,000 and there are five funding platforms to suit their financial situation and repayment capacity. Once approved, funding can be provided within as little as six hours.

Mr. Boon said TLC has exclusively partnered with Health Engine. “This allows us to connect with over 40,000 medical professionals and over 1,000,000 patient bookings a month. We have also exclusively partnered with Plastic Surgery Hub, linking TLC to Plastic Surgeons across Australia… We want to provide our wealth of knowledge to our clients by assisting them in finding the right clinic or business and empowering them with information and support.

There are no fees charged to associated medical practitioners or commissions paid. Promotional collateral and training is available.
