Bausch and Lomb (B+L) will streamline its business in New Zealand with a decision to appoint Toomac as the manager of all B+L surgical products from 1 January 2019. Previously, surgical products were managed by Radiant Health and Toomac managed B+L’s range of Synergetic products.
According to Rhonda Keen, Busines Unit Director at B+L, the decision to shift all surgical products to Toomac will result in greater support and efficiencies for customers.

The B+L portfolio to be represented by Toomac from 1 January 2019 includes:
- Stallaris phaco machines, consumables and accessories
- Synergetics
- Storz instruments
- B+L IOLs: Finevision, Envista, Akreos M160 and Micropure 123.
All other B+L brands, including Minims will be distributed by Radiant Health Ltd.
Radiant Health continues to provide support and sales of surgical products until 31 December 2018.
