Eyewear distributor ProOptics is marking its 10th anniversary with a significant change to its portfolio and plans for a number of customer offers across the year.
David Spencer Eyewear has been added to its exclusive portfolio, while Ogi Eyewear and Seraphin Eyewear have been discontinued.
“As part of our monumental tenth year, we have refreshed our current offering to make sure we are heading in the right direction for our business and our clients’ businesses too,” said ProOptics managing director Jacque Katsieris.
“We want to ensure that we continue to provide independent optometry practices with unique, incredible eyewear.
“We’re really excited to be supporting David Spencer. As a former director of OGI eyewear, he has been a creative powerhouse in international eyewear for many years. His personal collection is divine – we can’t wait to show optometrists in Australia and New Zealand.”
The son of a successful optometrist, David Spencer designs his eyewear by hand, using sketches and colour concepts to direct production. Working with artisan craftsmen from Japan, each piece is the culmination of beautiful shape, form, materials and colours. The frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetates and Japanese titanium for longevity and optimum comfort.
