This year the Ophthalmology Updates! conference will be held from 24–25 August at the Westin Hotel, Sydney. For its fourth and biggest year yet, the conference will boast an outstanding faculty including four interstate and one international speakers.
Over two days, speakers will address various subspecialty topics including Professor Lawrence Yannuzzi presenting a keynote address on medical retina via videoconference from New York, Professor James Muecke on ocular oncology and Sight For All, and Associate Professor Clare Fraser on neuroophthalmology.
As well as this, attendees can expect to hear from Dr’s Brett O’Donnell, Chameen Samarawickrama, Matt Spargo, Rick Wolfe, Professor’s Peter McCluskey, Ian Morgan, Frank Martin, Paul Mitchell, Mark Gillies, and Associate Professor’s Rohan Essex and Paul Healy, on a range of specialty topics related to ophthalmology.
If you want to brush up on common subspecialty topics and hear about new advances in ophthalmology and what they mean, the Ophthalmology Updates! conference will provide an opportunity in which to learn and ask questions.
The event is approved by RANZCO (12 CPD points) and Orthoptics Australia (10 CPD points) and is organised by conference convenor Associate Professor Adrian Fung.
