Specsavers has boosted its strength in optical dispensing with two new appointments to the team responsible for driving the advancement of dispensing across the Specsavers Australia and New Zealand store network, and elevating professional development opportunities for Specsavers optical dispensers.
Hailey Richardson
Hailey Richardson, Fellowship in British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO) qualified dispensing optician and former Specsavers store partner, has moved into the role of Dispensing Advancement Manager. Hailey will concentrate on the practical side of the dispensing experience in-store for Specsavers customers. She will review, develop and deliver tools, systems and processes designed to enhance this experience, regularly assessing the efficacy of these processes.
Hailey’s expertise as an impassioned dispenser and Anna-Mary’s corporate business acumen and comprehensive knowledge of Specsavers will be invaluable
Anna-Mary Carroll
Anna-Mary Carroll has also joined the Dispensing Advancement team in the role of Dispensing Development Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick, has experience working in the human resource functions of multiple large organisations across a variety of industries, and most recently worked with Specsavers’ Professional Recruitment and People and Organisation teams. Anna-Mary will support the growth and development of Specsavers’ qualified dispenser network through the delivery and promotion of the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing and the new, locally-facilitated Fellowship Dispensing Diploma (FBDO). She will also assist in facilitating dispensing professional development events such as the annual Specsavers Dispensing Conference.
Ms Richardson and Ms Carroll will work with Head of Ophthalmic Lenses and Dispensing Advancement Richard Couch.
