Specsavers has launched its audiology service to the New Zealand market with a strong presence at the Audiological Society Conference at Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown.
The organisation’s audiology team from its support office, as well as a partner from a Melbourne store, travelled to Queenstown to announce the launch and talk with local audiologists about the business model. The model sees audiology services established within existing Specsavers optometry practices.
We are now operating out of more than 100 locations across Australia and are excited to replicate the same success in New Zealand
Specsavers Audiology’s Head of Professional Services for New Zealand and Australia, Nick Taylor, said the conference was the perfect platform to launch the New Zealand offering.
“Since August 2017 we have been rolling out audiology services in our optical stores in Australia and I am looking forward to bringing that model (to New Zealand),” he said. “We are now operating out of more than 100 locations across Australia and are excited to replicate the same success in New Zealand, with the ultimate aim of providing audiology services in all of our North and South Island locations.”
