The Australasian College of Optical Dispensing (ACOD) has announced an increase in optical dispensing training for 2020 following a rise in students undertaking the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing HLT47815 throughout Australia.

Due to the popularity of workshops held in Canberra and Hobart in 2019, ACOD will expand its local offerings in 2020 to include workshops in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. ACOD will also offer local delivery in all Australian capital cities, excluding Darwin, as well as continuing to provide its courses to New Zealand.
James Gibbins, ACOD director, recognises the interest in dispensing training, delivered regionally and with the right student focused model. He says that having regional workshops, with local state subsidies, is increasing student numbers while decreasing the time out of store and the costs of training.
