O-Show 2020 is coming to Sydney.
The industry’s boutique eye care event will be held at the iconic Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, from 16–17 May next year, providing the opportunity to view the latest industry fashion and technology in one new location.
Organised by the Optical Distributors and Manufacturers Association (ODMA), the pop up event has been developed to meet the needs of the industry in the alternate year to the O=MEGA Show and timed for samples introduced at MIDO to be shown locally.
Finola Carey, Chief Executive Officer of ODMA, said O-Show will be a great resource for the industry. “It is a non CPD event with the emphasis on hands on demonstrations, and the opportunity to compare and contrast new products and equipment,” she said.
Robert Sparkes, Chairman of ODMA welcomed the opportunity to deliver this successful event. “With two showings in Melbourne under our belt, it was time to bring this new event, featuring some trend leading features and experiences, to Sydney… Of course we will be taking advantage of the Hordern’s music reputation to have some live music at the Happy Hour drinks on Saturday evening to maximise the fun for everyone.”
O-Show will support new scholarships for the industry and provide funding to support the distribution of basic lens dispensing education booklets free of charge.
